Features Of Twin Screw Dog Food Extruder Machine
The extruder is the key equipment for the production of feed extruders, currently, the most widely used in the feed industry is the twin-screw extrusion extruder. Twin-screw extrusion extruders are divided into wet type and dry type. Dry-type extruders only carry out dry steam heating and pre-conditioning before the raw materials enter the extruder. The extruder itself does not have steam and water-adding devices for extrusion. The pressure and temperature in the cavity should not be too high, and it is mostly used for the expansion of feed materials, such as the expansion of full-fat soybeans.
Extrusion is a high temperature and short time heat treatment process. It can not only reduce the degradation of food nutrients, improve the digestibility of protein and starch, but also destroy anti-nutrients and microorganisms. Can produce round, triangle, flower shape, bone shape and other shapes of dry pet food through different molds (templates) of the feed extruder. In pet food production, fat is usually added to improve the palatability of pet food, which is carried out during the conditioning process. In addition, in order to make pet food tablets have different colors, manufacturers usually add pigment water in the extrusion chamber.
