(1)Use a borescope to perform a visual inspection of the inside of the barrel, feed throat, and rear bushing.
(2)Use the screw to measure all thread and root diameters, determining the type and direction of measurement. Record the value. Also note any visual abnormalities.
(3)Have maintenance personnel inspect the panel and make sure all wire terminal strips and relay connections are tight, especially in higher load AC hot zone wiring.
