Applications in the feed industry
Pregelatinized starch can play a very good role in binding and improving the taste when used in feed. It is beneficial to food intake and reduces loss. However, when the amount of pregelatinized starch added is greater than 24.0%, the feed utilization rate will decrease. When it is less than 22.5%, the stability of the feed in water will decrease and it will be easily lost.
